I've just finished painting the General for my Allied Legions and now I need to find a suitable base. Not sure if I should use the WAB style single 25mm frontage cavalry base or use a large round base and make it more of a centrepiece? I would use the round base if I was only going to use it for Hail Caesar. Admittedly whenever I have used Romans in WAB the Army General has never actually entered the fray, he has only stood back and in range for units to benefit from his moral for break tests.
I am leaning towards the round base. What do you suggest?
Have decided to go the single 25mm frontage Cavalry base, for flexibility and I don't have time to make a little diorama at the moment. :o)
